It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas (as they say), but on the Bayside and in Wynnum it’s really the Bayside Carols which mark that point, and – in case you didn’t know – they are on tomorrow Saturday 17th December down at the waterfront at George Clayton Park from 3.45pm until 8.30pm.
There will be plenty of food vendors at the events, including sausage sizzles, burgers, hot dogs, hot potatoes and Malaysian food along with donuts, brownies, crepes and even bubble tea. There will also be coffee.
Plus there will even be some gluten free and plant-based snacks from their range of delicious cookies courtesy of Mandala VGF* who will have a stall (not in the food vendor section though). For more info on stallholders and food options, jump on the Bayside Carols Facebook page here…

And for anyone looking for more entertainment there will also be a rock climbing wall, face painting and balloons! See the full poster at the bottom of this article.
The organisers are advising that you bring chairs/blankets with you and, as at previous carols, free carol books will be available in case you don’t know all the words and want to sing along.
Bayside Carols were established nine years ago and are hosted by the Queensland Services Heritage Band Association.
Among the supporters of Bayside Carols are the following Wynnum Business members (and WynnumCentral supporters)…
