Moves in the street

A few recent moves, openings and closings in Wynnum. As reported in our other article, fitness studio F45 has opened in Edith Street, where the bike shop used to be.

Bayside Florists has also moved from its Edith Street shop to underneath the Flinders Building where Flinders Coffee used to be (before they moved to Glenora Street and renamed to Monty’s Place, apart from the coffee vans which remain Flinders Coffee).

Residents are now moving into The Palais in Bay Terrace.

Nails by Wendy has moved out of its shop in Florence Street and there is a new shop called ‘Christmas Boutique on Florence’ that may – or may not(!) be opening in the same place. We’ll have to wait and see. The boutique is a collaboration between erica brooke, 438 designs and Three Tides Artisan. And another type of popup Christmas shop – more along the lines of wrapping paper, cards etc, has opened on the corner of Bay Terrace and Edith Street.
