New Wynnum Community Centre Open Day

On Saturday 28th November the new Wynnum Community Centre, based in the old red school building in Florence Street, will be holding an Open Day from 9am-12pm. Brisbane City Council has said that the centre will open ‘in the coming weeks’ and the whole site, including a new Woolworths supermarket and the new Wynnum Public Library, is scheduled to be completed in 2016.

It has been designed to be a hub for local residents, and will have hireable spaces for community groups, a hall with a stage and kitchen facilities.
