WynnumCentral has had a bit of fun in the past with April Fools – some of which worked better than others.
The secret we think is to make them at least believable, but there’s a form of ‘April Fool joke inflation’ which means they need to get more and more ridiculous each year, which is a tough ask!
One year we even had people believe the April Fools joke and massively doubt a real one (about the opening of a bar) published on the same day.
We did have a few ideas this year but none of them really passed the test. Maybe next year…
