Drag and burlesque show coming to Wynnum
New bar and venue D&W Republic in Edith Street is hosting an event in a few weeks time – a drag and burlesque show, something we’re guessing probably wouldn’t have been held there a few years ago when it was still Suncorp Bank!
The show is promising to be “a night of dazzling entertainment like no other …a celebration of all things glitz, glamour and unapologetic self-expression”.
During the three hour performance there will be stunning costumes combined with impressive dance moves in a mix of classic and contemporary burlesque.
So whether you’re a burlesque old hand or a total newbie, Wynnum will be the place to be on the evening of Thursday 22nd June.

- Ticket price: $25 (booking essential – 100 ticket capacity – book early to avoid missing out)
